Area 51 is the name for a military base located in southern part of western Nevada in United States of America (130 kilometers northwest from Las Vegas). Main purpose of the base is the development and testing experimental military airplanes and weapons. Base still uses names Dreamland, Paradise Ranch, Home Base, Watertown Strip and Groom Lake.
