10 UNUSIAL MATING RITUALS IN ANIMAL WORLD

Nature brings us diversities that make every animal kind unique. Differences are mostly spotted by the appearance of animals and are the key to determining certain species. Beside looks, their behavior makes them unique. In nature we can find various rituals connected to seducing a partner of the opposite sex, and mating ritual can vary.

We are all we familiarized with the fact- purpose of seduction is attracting the opposite sex in order to reach a more intimate contact, between animals and between people. In animal world we find various forms of sexual and non-sexual procreation. Sexual procreation most often requires internal fertilization, so called, direct contact of two units of the opposite sex and such contact we call mating. The mating position itself is often similar with all animals. With birds, mammals, and most reptiles animals mate in such a way that a male lay down from the back on the female that is laying still. In the case of some primates there are other positions such as missionary that are also typical for people. Look at all the seduction rituals that exist in the animal world.
