Right to live represents one of basic human rights and its integrity is guarded by almost all legal systems, constitutions and other legal acts in countries all over the world. Even still, everyday precisely this human right is being broken human lives are extinguished by unnatural ways, by force and often by other people, the same people that should uphold that law as the ultimate postulate of all of us, regardless of the race, gender, religious and sexual orientation.

In newer history there are a large number of murders that remained in world public remembered until today. Some of these murders we remember by their brutality, while others by their means, motive or execution way. What characterizes those crimes is the fact that their perpetrators were never caught.

Are those acts of SERIAL OR MASS MURDERER, or are those acts of psychopaths, most likely we will never know. Even though it is said that justice must be served and that every crime must be punished, unfortunately, for these 10 most famous and unsolved murders, the same cannot be said.

10THE BOY IN THE BOX – 1957

Body of a child found naked and bettered to death in a box. The victim has never been identified and all leads in the case have dried up.

09TUPAC SHAKUR AND SIGGIE SMALLS – 1996

Hip hop rivals gunned down in separate drive-by shooting. Shoddy police investigations and uncooperative witnesses mean suspects have never been found.

08THE TYLENOL MURDERS – 1982

Seven people died after taking Tylenol laced with cyanide. A ransom latter, DNA testing and FBI questioning of the “One bomber” as a suspect have proved inconclusive.

07THE AXEMAN MURDERS OF NEW ORLEANS - 1918

The Axeman claimed 8 victims, usually discarding his weapon afterwards. Describing himself as a “Demon from the hottest hell”, he vanished in 1918.

06THE BLACK DAHLIA – 1947

Elizabeth Short was found sliced in half and drained of blood. Hundreds came forward with evidence or claiming to be the killer, but to no avail.

05HINTERKAIFECK – 1922

Six people were bludgeoned to death in their isolated farmhouse in Germany. The murderer lived in the farm for days afterward, before disappearing.

04THE RIPPER MURDERS – 1888

Five prostitutes with their throats slit, bodies mutilated and organs removed. Despite over 200 suspects named, including a UK royal, the killer was never caught.

03THE LAKE BODOM MURDERS – 1960

Murder of three teens camping in Finland, another survived and was found not guilty. A mysterious blond man was spotted at the scene, while other suspects committed suicide.

02THE ZODIAC KILLINGS (1960 - 1970)

Unidentified serial killer, who murdered five people but he claimed 37 victims. Despite taunting police with coded messages no one was brought to justice.

01THE HIGHWAY OF TEARS (1969 - ONGOING)

At least 18 young women disappeared along this Canadian road, most of them later found murdered. Whether it is the work of multiple SERIAL KILLERS is unknown.
