We want all the best to younger generations, worry free childhood and best education. We want to make them grow up into good people, much better than we are. We feel that if during childhood they are thought good and positive stuff, later they will grow up into honest men. First books that comes to them, should be precisely that.
They should develop love, tolerance with children, and show them what is good and what is not. Not all books fulfill those demands, many of them with their content not only influence does not influence them in a pedagogical way, but they contain content that is not suitable for their age. In many countries there are BOOKS FOR CHILDREN WHICH ARE BANNED, due to non-pedagogic content. Some are too cruel while some propagate religious and racial hatred. Although in recent years on all fields racial tolerance is supported, many children books that were around for many generations, contains racial elements that are not recommended for children. “The Secret Garden” is British novel with colonial views. The protagonist, when presumed to be black, bursts into tears, stating blacks “are not people”.
09THE STORY OF THE LITTLE BLACK SOMBO -1899
The story of an Indian boy, illustrated as a garish reconstruction with a black child. Even the word “Sambo” has a history of negative connotations.

In the original, Oompa-Loompas were from Central Africa. Growinf awareness in the 70s meant Willy Wonka´s slaves were changed into funny white skinned clowns.

Enid Blyton´s books contain Golliwogs: stereotyped representations of black people. In “Here Comes Noddy Again” they ask Noddy for help, before stealing his car and clothes.

Seen by some as an ironic critique of racism, Twain´s book has frequently been complained about. The book contains the word “n.gger” over 200 times.
